Welcome to ADRA Tanzania

Discover how we are helping individuals in Africa. Learn about our current and future development projects in the country. Experience things firsthand by volunteering with our organization, or find out how you can invest financially in the future of Tanzania.

We have partnered with a variety of donors and successfully managed projects of various funding sizes and in different regions. Our projects have covered the areas of education, water, economic development, primary health care, food security and natural resource management, and disaster response.

ADRA Tanzania defines sustainability as “holistic approaches and practices that will assure the project benefits will continue benefiting the targeted population even when the donor funding phases out.” Thus, our projects facilitate local communities to play an active part in developing the project design and action plan, and then they play an active role in the implementation of the project.

At the moment, we implement our projects in seven regions of Tanzania; these are Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Morogoro, Mara, Mwanza and Tanga. In the future we wish to expand our implementation radius with the help of our ADRA network and our established donor partners, but also by seeking new partnerships locally and worldwide. We hope that you enjoy your visit with us!
